My question is how would I add my LDAP directory users to Mysite or into “Users Profiles and Properties”. It’s a single server installation and I have not deployed AD in my staging server. I wanted to deploy MOSS without AD as an experiment and it works fine. People picker will only select users from the “local users and groups” but SSP search crawls users from LDAP. Also, it imports the users from LDAP which is viewable in the logs. But the same users are not picked up even while creating “Audience”.

I can probably find the code and build it and help you fix the fault. We’ve fixed several installations, so many in fact we setup a SharePoint support site, so I can’t do it for free I’m afraid. I am totally new to all this C# stuff, however today we noticed our SharePoint WSS 3.0 experienced the same issue within a number of our sub-sites. If we try and use the edit command it just pops up with access denied.

I can see the code above fixes this known bug, however I do not know how to use C# or Visual Studio. Please could someone email over a complied output file to my mailbox so I can fix this issue on our SP Server tomorrow?
